On January 23, 2026, during our biannual hybrid meeting (held both online and on site), a new Executive Board was elected. Professor Marcin Kilarski became Chapter President, with Professor Magdalena Wrembel, Professor Jacek Witkoś, and the former President, Professor Liliana Sikorska, serving on the Executive Committee.

Members then had the opportunity to listen to two presentations: Professor Andrzej Marszałek’s “On Ponglish Medical Terminology” and “Lord Alfred Tennyson’s ‘The Charge of the Light Brigade’: The Poem in Its Military and Cultural Context,” presented by Professor Jacek Witkoś and Professor Liliana Sikorska.

The meeting was followed by an informal dinner.

We are deeply grateful to the former Executive Committee—Professor Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, Professor Maria Kaczmarek, Professor Andrzej Dobek, and Mr Włodzimierz Mazanka—for their engagement in the Chapter’s endeavors.
