About us
Poznań Chapter is a part of Agder Vitenskapsakademi
The Poznań Chapter of Agder Academy of Sciences and Letters is the only overseas branch of a Norwegian Agder Vitenskapsakademi originally located in Kristiansand. Chapter was established in 2009 and today it includes 25 members, recruited from amongst artistic nad academic staff of Poznań, Poland. It's main goal is to promote scientific knowledge and interdisciplinary exchange of research in hope of perusing free-thought and cross discipline approach.
Activities
The Poznań Chapter of Agder Academy encourages cross disciplinary approach and caters to friendly research inspiration in a number of ways.
Meetings and publications
Research vortex
Poznań Members usually meet twice a year, apart from the annual Academy meeting. The meeting usually include a presentation on a variety of scientific topics ranging from biology and chemistry to literature and anthropology. Most talks are turned into a published booklet.


Young Scholar Awards
Greatest journey begins with a single step
Poznań Chapter hoping to support interdisciplinary research has established an annual award for promising young academics. The award is to be given by the Poznań Members in their recognition of outstanding scholary work cross various academic disciplines.
